We are a Humanities Specialist College which became an all through school in September 2012. We achieved IIP Gold in December 2013 and have also been awarded Teaching School Status. At Waverley we try to create an environment which allows everyone to develop mutual respect for each other and a respect for learning.

This is an exciting time to join Waverley Education Foundation Trust. We have new landmark buildings that provide everyone with state of the art facilities for learning, teaching and training. As part of the exciting growth plans for the Trust, we are expanding our team to meet future requirements. We are looking for an experienced and influential Targeted Intervention Teacher SEND to join our Resource Base team at Waverley School.

You will be required to plan and develop high quality lessons using a variety of approaches, to continually enhance teaching and learning for SEND and targeted students. You will need to maintain and build upon the standards achieved in the award for QTS (Secondary KS4) as set out by the Secretary of State. You will also assist Faculty staff in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for all students with learning needs and differentiation of materials to meet the needs of all students.
